MASARU OZAKI

MASARU OZAKI moved to the United States when he was 19.  As a performer, he performed in many shows and musicals.  Apart from performing, he learned the technical aspects of shows, such as image projecting and lighting. His ideas and engineering (technical) skills were gained through his experience.  Putting motion graphics as the starting point of a design, he works on many motion pictures with a focus on media work, such as commercials and promotion videos, and includes his original view of the world creatively.
MASARU OZAKI is the leading projection mapping artist/video artist in Japan, and is one of the pioneers of successfully manipulating CG Animation to music during live (VJ) performance on stage, and at lives for performing art.  He has done video direction and space designing for fashion shows of the world’s leading fashion brands including JOHN LAWRENCE SULLIVAN, NEIL BARRETT, and DIESEL, and is also known for his successful artworks he directed for ‘Expo 2010 Shanghai China’ where he worked on the fashion zone, and ORIGAMIWALL of the Japan Pavilion, and as his three dimensional sculpture and art works were permanently installed at the main entrance of the Pavilion, he continues to be successful worldwide.
